The Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator Litgrid has delivered a new batch of assistance to Ukraine for the needs of the energy sector. This equipment was collected across various regions of Lithuania and successfully transported to Ukraine.

The shipment contains critically important equipment for restoring substations and power transmission lines, which helps strengthen and support the stable operation of the energy system. The received aid will be used for rapid repairs of damaged networks.

The provision of such equipment helps Ukrainian energy workers restore network operations more quickly and maintain stable electricity supply for consumers.

This is already the sixth aid package that Litgrid has delivered to Ukraine. Previously, the company provided autotransformers and other key transmission system components such as circuit breakers, disconnectors, current and voltage transformers, surge arresters, insulators, relay protection and automation devices, as well as various other equipment and materials needed to reinforce the energy infrastructure.
