Lithuania has joined the coalition of countries providing assistance to Ukrainian air defense, announced Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda.
"Glad to announce that Lithuania joins the Air Defence Capability Coalition led by Germany, France, and the United States. We will contribute by providing Ukraine with mobile air surveillance radars," Nauseda wrote on the social media platform X.
He described military support for Ukraine as crucial. "Ukraine needs weapons, not promises. Let's back up our words with action," Nauseda noted.
In response to Nauseda's statement, President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote that Lithuania's contribution is "highly valuable" for Ukraine.
