Danilina/Khromacheva vs. Ostapenko/Kichenok – 0:2 (6:7, 4:6)

The Kazakh-Russian duo started the match more confidently, leading 3:1 with a break. However, the partnership between Kichenok and the Baltic player leveled the score at 3:3 in the middle of the first set. In the tenth game, Kichenok and Ostapenko nearly broke their opponents' serve again.

Despite this, Danilina and Khromacheva prevented the opponents from converting a set point, leading to a tiebreak. Kichenok and Ostapenko secured the tiebreak decisively, winning 7:2.

The second set started evenly, with the seventh game being pivotal. Ostapenko and Kichenok aggressively sought a break and finally achieved it on their eighth attempt. They then maintained their own serves to secure the set and the match.

This is the second time this year that Kichenok and Ostapenko have reached the semifinals, having previously made it to the final at the Australian Open.
