Luxembourg has announced that it will join the Czech initiative to purchase 800,000 artillery shells for Ukraine.
The announcement was made by the Minister of Defense of Luxembourg, Yuriko Bakkes.
"This will be part of our overall effort to provide much needed capabilities to Ukraine in their fight against the Russian aggressor," she noted.
Earlier, Czech President Petr Pavel confirmed that Ukraine's allies had transferred the entire amount of funds needed to deliver 800,000 artillery shells to Ukraine.
