Ukraine is ready to share its experience with American companies on the use of their weapons in countering Russian aggression, which will enable U.S. enterprises to develop and implement innovative technologies in their production. This will pave the way for deeper cooperation between Ukrainian and American defense industry companies.
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksandr Balanutsa, called for an increase in the number of joint military-industrial projects in his address to American defense companies, members of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA).
"Ukraine has already gained significant experience in using Western weapons on the battlefield. We are ready to share this experience to improve the characteristics of weaponry. NDIA has the potential to become an information bridge between the Ministry of Defense and American companies," the deputy minister suggested to U.S. arms manufacturers.
The war unleashed by Russia has revealed the "weak spots" of NATO countries. According to the Ukrainian representative, this includes at least the insufficient pace of weapons and ammunition production.
"But we are seeing these challenges being addressed. We are ready, from our side, to cooperate in increasing the speed, volume, and quality of the production of what has proven its effectiveness on the battlefield," added Oleksandr Balanutsa.
He thanked the U.S. arms manufacturers for their support and the Association’s contribution to the resilience of Ukraine’s defense. At the same time, he urged them to continue expanding the formats of cooperation and to collaborate more closely with Ukrainian manufacturers.
