The head of the Kharkiv Military Administration, Oleg Sinegubov, said that more than 100 suspicions of treason have already been filed in the region.
Oleg Synegubov became the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration at the end of December 2021, when everyone already knew for sure about the future aggravation of the military situation. Under his leadership, the region endured the most difficult first weeks despite its direct border with the Russian Federation and ultimately remained mainly under the control of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
"We have now filed more than 100 suspicions on the territory of the Kharkiv region. Some in person that is, directly handed over by the prosecutor's office, the National Police, the Security Service of Ukraine, suspicions. And people were detained, including Russian servicemen. There are people who have been informed of this suspicion in absentia," Sinegubov said in an interview with Dumka.
He noted that the situation requires a serious approach.
"For example, that same Kupyansk community and its head tells us that somewhere, probably, we have not done enough in this direction either," says the head of the Military Administration.
According to him, partly, these suspicions in absentia will develop into full-time ones, when the Armed Forces of Ukraine will de-occupy the territories.
