President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin cannot be a subject of dialogue with the world since he does not have his political perspective in Russia itself.
Mykhailo Podolyak, the adviser to the head of the President's Office, wrote about this on the Twitter microblog. According to him, the only chance for the Russian Federation to survive is to reboot the elites or write off "other people's mistakes."
- Previously, Podolyak said that the Kremlin does not offer a single peaceful negotiation process but simply wants to gain a foothold in the territories of Ukraine occupied after the start of a full-scale invasion.
- According to NBC News sources, some Western officials see winter as a good time to start talks between Ukraine and Russia because they don't believe the two countries can achieve their war goals.
- The other day, United States President Joe Biden announced his readiness to talk to Putin in consultation with France and NATO if he "demonstrates interest in ending the war."
- The Kremlin responded that the US refusal to recognize the annexed territories "makes it difficult to find grounds for mutual discussion."
