New Zealand announced a package of assistance to Ukraine worth $9.8 million, as reported by Ukraine's Ambassador to Australia, Vasyl Myroshnychenko.
At the NATO Summit in Washington, Prime Minister of New Zealand K. Laxon announced that his government will provide $16 million New Zealand dollars (equivalent to $9.8 million USD) in aid to Ukraine. This includes $6 million New Zealand dollars ($3.68 million USD) for military assistance and $10 million New Zealand dollars ($6.12 million USD) for humanitarian aid.
The military assistance entails allocating $4 million New Zealand dollars ($2.45 million USD) to the Drone Coalition led by the United Kingdom and Latvia, and $2 million New Zealand dollars ($1.23 million USD) for Ukraine's military medical needs.
