Ukraine received 55,000 units of winter military clothing.

Norway continues to provide assistance to the Ukrainian army. This time, our ally handed over an artillery mount and sets of winter clothes to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“In general, we donate winter clothes worth NOK 250 million. We try to transfer them to Ukraine as soon as possible. The cold season comes quickly,” said Norwegian Defense Minister Bjørn Gram.

The aid package from Norway consists of:

  • one self-propelled gun M109 caliber 155 mm;
  • 20 thousand spare parts for previously provided such gun mounts;
  • 55 thousand units of winter military clothing;
  • 55 thousand dressings and individual packages;
  • 30 thousand dry rations.

Gram assured that Norway will continue to support Ukraine in the fight against the Russian aggressor. Earlier it was reported that Norway plans to purchase ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine for $20 million.

Recall that Norway will finance the purchase of gas for Ukraine for $200 million.
