The loading of vessels (barges) at the ports in the Odessa region will now be subject to a prerequisite analysis of the legality of the grain's origin. All customs declarations must be registered prior to the loading of the exported goods.

This information was conveyed by Oleg Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional State Administration.

"In this way, the Odessa Regional Military Administration strengthens discipline, accountability, and reporting in the sphere of foreign economic activity under the legal regime of martial law. The new mechanism for controlling export products has been developed over the course of a month by the Odessa Customs, the Main Department of the State Tax Service in the Odessa region, as well as the Territorial Branch of the State Bureau of Economic Security in the Odessa region," wrote Kiper.

He noted that through a win-win partnership, the legal business sector had the opportunity and continues to have the possibility to join an open memorandum of cooperation between the Odesa Regional State Administration, state authorities, local self-government bodies, and economic entities. This memorandum is reciprocal, voluntary, and equal, with 26 companies already having joined, and the list can be found at the provided link.

Furthermore, efforts are underway to develop constructive amendments to the mentioned directive in order to eliminate burdens that arise for "white" exporters. Work is currently being conducted in collaboration with relevant associations.
