The offensive potential of the Russian army is practically exhausted, and the occupiers are switching to old Soviet weapons and taking anyone into their ranks.
Military expert Oleg Zhdanov said this during a broadcast with Russian human rights activist Mark Feigin.
"The Russian invaders are exhausted in terms of offensive potential. In terms of defense potential, they very much doubt their ability to withstand if the Armed Forces of Ukraine go on the offensive. There is a rebalancing - in the opposite direction," the expert noted.
According to him, the Russian command assembles "stomach division" on old weapons.
"This is the terminology of the Second World War. Hitler called the last wave of mobilization "gastric battalions" because they suffered most from stomach diseases, consuming army food in the field. The military expert stated that the Russians had run out of modern military equipment and had nothing to replace it with.
