According to the expert, government facilities are able to withstand even a nuclear strike.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war against Ukraine, Russia has not attacked the center of Kyiv, where the government quarter is located. Military expert Oleg Zhdanov explained why the central part of the capital and state authorities have not yet become targets of enemy attacks.

He spoke about this in an interview with Politeka.

According to him, the historical center of Kyiv bears the basis of history, which the Russian Federation probably considers its own and is trying to steal.

"Second point - everything was built there based on a nuclear strike on Kyiv. Therefore, you can bomb or not, it will not solve any problem," the expert explained.

"It's one thing when they hit industrial zones or openly located infrastructure facilities. And another thing is when there are facilities that are designed for a medium-sized nuclear strike," he added.
