The Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the enemy on the Kupyansk and Bakhmut fronts and are conducting assault operations south of Bakhmut, according to General-Colonel Oleksandr Syrskyi, the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"The defense forces continue to hold back the enemy on many sections of the front. On the Kupyansk front, the Russians conducted assault operations in the areas of Synkivka, east of Petropavlivka, and Ivanivka. The attacks were repelled by our soldiers. Bakhmut direction. The Russians attempted to attack in the areas of Klischiivka and Andriivka. All attacks were repelled," he wrote in a telegram channel.
Syrskyi noted that the Ukrainian army continues assault operations south of Bakhmut.
"The defense forces inflict losses on the enemy in personnel and equipment, consolidate on the achieved positions. We will win," he emphasized.
