Poland has recorded significant growth in the export of Polish products to third-country markets, highlighting a sharp increase in exports to Ukraine over the past two years.
As reported by Wnp.pl, this was stated by Poland's Deputy Minister of Development and Technology, Jacek Tomczak, during the Business Forum in Warsaw.
According to him, in 2023, Poland was one of 11 EU countries that saw an increase in its exports, while the average EU indicator at that time was negative, standing at -2.5%.
"In this ranking, we surpassed all the largest exporters in the EU. Even the war in Ukraine did not halt the growth of Polish exports. In the case of Ukraine, we are experiencing an explosion in exports. In 2022, it reached 55%, and in 2023, it increased by another 16%," Tomczak said.
The Deputy Minister added that Poland can also boast substantial growth in exports to countries such as the USA, Turkey, Mexico, India, the UAE, Kazakhstan, and Singapore. He reported that this export increase last year amounted to over 30%.
