After the incident of violating Poland's airspace, the Polish Air Defense Forces have been placed on high alert.
This was announced by the spokesperson for the Operational Command of the Armed Forces of Poland, Jacek Goryszewski, as reported by Polsat News.
"To ensure the safety of our airspace, the combat readiness of our air defense assets and the next pairs of interceptors has been increased," said Goryszewski.
The spokesperson for the command noted that the search for the object is ongoing. Work is also continuing to determine the reasons for the airspace violation and to establish the trajectory of the object's flight.
"At present, it is known that Poland's airspace was violated in the morning hours. The Operational Command has completed all procedures, and all individuals who need to be informed are aware of this fact," he added.
