President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone call with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak.

The Head of Ukrainian State spoke about the continued Russian aerial terror against Ukrainian cities. He noted that over the past five days, the enemy had fired at the very least 500 missiles and combat drones at the territory of Ukraine.

The President noted the UK's substantial and comprehensive contribution to bolstering Ukraine's air defense system, particularly with radars, advanced anti-drone systems and missiles.

The interlocutors discussed further defense cooperation with a particular emphasis on enhancing air defense and long-range capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and meeting other urgent needs of Ukraine in terms of weapons and ammunition.

The Ukrainian President and the British Prime Minister also praised the productive work on the bilateral agreement on security commitments for Ukraine under the Vilnius Joint Declaration of the Group of Seven. The parties instructed the teams to finalize the agreement as soon as possible.

Volodymyr Zelensky and Rishi Sunak also coordinated positions in the run-up to the fourth meeting of national security and political advisors in Davos on the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula. Particular attention was paid to preparations for the Global Peace Summit at the level of heads of state and joint work on specific points of the Peace Formula.
