On April 17, 2024, during a charity ballet evening at the National Opera, Ukrainian businesses and private benefactors invested $1,177,082 in support of the missions of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
The event was supported by the leading soloist of the English National Ballet, Katerina Khanyukova. It was organized by the Defence Development Fund and the KSE Foundation.
The initiative was titled "Power of Art. Donate to Eliminate," and all funds raised within its framework will be directed towards strengthening the combat capabilities of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"Art is a reflection of the present. Our present is war. And the greatest service I can offer with my art is to help the army. The enemy must be destroyed. And for me, it's an honor to have the opportunity to contribute to this," said Katerina Khanyukova, the leading soloist of the English National Ballet.
"All our units, all our boys and girls, are doing everything possible, and sometimes even the impossible, to bring Ukraine closer to victory. We believe that together, with joint efforts, we can achieve the highest standard, the highest goal—our victory," noted the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Yevheniy Yerin.
