At its session on May 10, the Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a document under which russian assets on the territory of Ukraine will be transferred to the state, announced the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
According to the Head of Government, confiscated assets of russia will be directed to the State Enterprise “National Investment Fund of Ukraineâ€
Both the President and the Government reiterated for several times that russia must pay for what it has destroyed in Ukraine. We will take away everything that russia owns in our country, and we will direct these resources to strengthen our army, support the people and rebuild our country
Moreover, the Prime Minister noted that in talks with all partners Ukraine focused on the comprehensive Ukraine Recovery Plan. We anticipate that one of the main sources of filling the Fund will be confiscated russian assets and funds.
Denys Shmyhal aslo added that the National Council for Recovery and its working groups have embarked on work.
