During a working trip to Berlin on October 25, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal held a meeting with the Federal Minister of Defense of Germany Christine Lambrecht.
The Head of the Ukrainian Government emphasized that German weapons, in particular the IRIS-T air-defense missile system, proved extremely effective in protecting the Ukrainian sky and the lives of Ukrainians from russian missiles. The Prime Minister also voiced Ukraine's proposals for improving countermeasures against Iranian drones.
Denys Shmyhal ascertained that Germany's assistance in supplying Ukraine with weapons will not diminish. He thanked the German government and people for their consistent support.
On October 24-25, the Ukrainian delegation led by the Prime Minister of Ukraine is staying in Berlin at the invitation of the German side to participate in the International Expert Conference on the Restoration, Reconstruction and Modernization of Ukraine, organized by Germany, the European Union and the G7 countries.
