Ukraine and Moldova will develop joint control at the state border. Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and Prime Minister of Moldova Dorin Recean agreed to this during a meeting in Kyiv.
“I would like to note our progress in developing logistics in the face of russia’s blocking of the ‘grain corridor’ in the Black Sea. A quick decision on the construction of a bridge over the Dniester, the development of border crossing points and railway connections are very important and crucial for us,” Denys Shmyhal stressed.
The parties also discussed cooperation between Ukraine and Moldova on further European integration.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine thanked Moldova for its support since the first days of the full-scale war. He expressed hope that today’s visit of the Moldovan delegation would contribute to the further development of bilateral contacts and productive dialogue.
