Various groups of Ukrainian specialists are undergoing F-16 training under different programs. Specifically, three groups of pilots and aviation personnel are receiving training in Denmark, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, and Poland.
This information was shared on Telegram by the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavlyuk.
Pavlyuk highlighted the efforts made by partners within the "Aviation Coalition" to develop the combat capabilities of the Ukrainian Air Force. Each country is contributing not only by providing aircraft but also by assisting with ammunition and everything necessary for the effective defense of Ukrainian airspace through F-16. This also includes training, with various groups of specialists currently undergoing training in different programs.
According to Pavlyuk, young pilots are enhancing their professional skills by conducting training flights following international procedures in the United Kingdom, preparing for subsequent retraining on F-16 aircraft. Experienced pilots and ground personnel are undergoing retraining on F-16s in Denmark and the United States.
Other groups of Ukrainian pilots and aviation personnel, currently improving their proficiency in specialized aviation English in the United Kingdom, Canada, Poland, and the United States, will soon join the retraining program for F-16 aircraft.
The First Deputy Minister also noted that the efforts of international partners are focused on various aspects of supporting Ukraine.
As reported earlier, the "Aviation Coalition" includes 14 countries, including the Kingdom of Belgium, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Kingdom of Denmark, the Hellenic Republic (Greece), the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Kingdom of Norway, the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Canada, the Republic of Poland, Romania, the United States of America, the Czech Republic, the French Republic, and the Kingdom of Sweden.
