Due to the full-scale war unleashed in Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin found himself in complete isolation and exile. If he loses this war, then he is "end".
Russian political scientist Dmitry Oreshkin expressed this opinion in a column on HB.
âFrom my point of view, Putin is in isolation and exile. In terms of social support inside the country, he is fine, but outside his own state, he can only travel to countries like Turkmenistan. He has painted himself into a corner in international politics,â â he noted.
The expert is sure that the Russian security forces are beginning to doubt Putin; the situation for Russia is deteriorating every day.
âIt has already been officially announced that Finland and Sweden are members of NATO, itâs impossible to conquer Ukraine, itâs impossible to present victory on a silver platter to your voters again. And therefore, you have to do a rather unpleasant job for yourself - a balancing act. Talk about the fact that the purpose of the operation was to protect the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, while not answering a reasonable question, why and why the protection of these regions was carried out near Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv," Oreshkin added.
The political scientist believes that Putin is in a situation for which he was not morally prepared - "a sluggish, implicitly expressed strategic defeat."
