Russian attacks devastate Kherson, Sumy, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions

Kherson region

In the Kherson region, one person was killed and seven others were injured over the past day as a result of Russian aggression.

According to local authorities, several settlements came under drone terror, air strikes, and artillery fire — including Antonivka, Sadove, Komyshany, Prydniprovske, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Veletenske, Rozlyv, Kizomys, Oleksandrivka, Poniativka, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Tokarivka, Beryslav, Dudchany, Vysoke, Burhunka, Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Monastyrske, Odradokamianka, Olhivka, Osokorivka, Vesele, Kozatske, and Kherson.

Three apartment buildings, seven private houses, administrative facilities, a cell tower, and private vehicles were damaged.

As a result of Russian attacks, one person was killed and seven others were wounded.

Sumy region

From the morning of November 9 to the morning of November 10, Russian forces carried out more than 60 attacks on 28 settlements across 16 territorial communities in the Sumy region, leaving two people injured.

  • In the Velykopysarivka community, a 45-year-old woman was injured as a result of a Russian drone strike.
  • In the Krasnopillia community, an 89-year-old woman was injured in a UAV attack.
  • The largest number of attacks was recorded in the Sumy and Shostka districts.

The Russians carried out over 10 strikes with guided aerial bombs and more than 10 drone attacks, dropped about 10 VOG grenades from UAVs, and launched 25 multiple rocket launcher (MLRS) strikes. The Russian forces also attacked the Sumy region with FPV drones.

  • In the Shostka community, non-residential buildings were damaged, while in the Sumy community, private homes and non-residential buildings were hit.
  • In the Romny community, warehouses, apartment buildings, private houses, and a truck were damaged.
  • In the Seredyna-Buda community, a private household was destroyed; in the Krasnopillia community, an apartment building, a private house, and non-residential premises were damaged.
  • In the Konotop community, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged.

Dnipropetrovsk region

Russian forces attacked the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region.

The head of the regional state administration, Vladyslav Haivanenko said that the Russian army shelled the Nikopol district with artillery and attacked it with drones. Nikopol and the Pokrovska community came under fire, and a private house caught fire.

In the Vasylkivka community of the Synelnykove district, drones struck a church, causing a fire. A bank building was also damaged.

There were no casualties or injuries.

Kharkiv region

On November 9, two settlements in the Kharkiv region came under Russian attack, leaving two women injured. The Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov said that shelling in the village of Prykolotne, part of the Vilkhuvatka community, injured two women aged 55 and 75.

The Russian forces attacked the Kharkiv region with seven Geran-2 drones and ten more drones of an unidentified type.

  • In the village of Prykolotne in the Kupiansk district, seven private houses were damaged.
  • In the village of Orilka in the Lozova district, railway infrastructure was damaged.

The transit evacuation center in Lozova received 190 people over the past day, with 37 remaining there. Since the center began operating, a total of 11,558 people have been registered, Syniehubov noted.

Zaporizhzhia region

Over the past day, Russian forces launched 367 attacks on 13 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

He said that Russian troops carried out seven airstrikes on Stepnohirsk, Lukyanivske, Orikhiv, Dobropillia, and Rivnopillia. A total of 162 drones of various types (mostly FPV) targeted Chervonodniprovka, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Zelenyi Hai. Four multiple rocket launcher attacks hit Stepove, Novoandriivka, and Zelenyi Hai. There were also 194 artillery strikes on the areas of Chervonodniprovka, Prymorske, Stepove, Huliaipole, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, and Zelenyi Hai.

Six reports were received about damage to homes, garages, and vehicles.

Chernihiv region

As a result of Russian attacks on several settlements in the Novhorod-Siverskyi district of Chernihiv region, houses were damaged, as reported by the head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus.

“Yesterday, the aggressor attacked the Novhorod-Siverskyi district. Residential buildings in several settlements were damaged,” he wrote.

The official noted that over the past week, Russian forces carried out 241 strikes across Chernihiv region, resulting in 505 explosions. These attacks involved mortars, multiple rocket launchers (MRLs), FPV drones, strike UAVs, and ballistic missiles.
