As a result of a rocket attack on a five-story building in Zaporizhzhia, two people were killed, not four, as previously reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General.
This was announced by the chairman of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Yuriy Malashko, on the air of the national telethon. "As of now, we are continuing rescue work. There are dead - these are two men. We see another man, and we are evacuating him," he said.
According to Malashko, as a result of the shelling, six people were injured - three men and three women, of which one is pregnant. 20 people were evacuated, 11 were rescued.
He explained that such a difference in the published data is since the building is old, and the rubble is very large. The technique is still working.
"We have missing people - these are nine people. We have a chance (to find people alive under the rubble), and we will go to the end to save everyone if they are alive," he said.
On the night of March 2, the Russian military carried out another attack on the territory of Zaporizhzhia, previously, from the S-300 air defense system. One rocket hit a multi-story building in the city center, and the residents of the apartments were under the rubble.
As a result of the impact in the five-story building, more than ten apartments from the 2nd to the 5th floors were destroyed.
