Russians struck Zolochiv in the Kharkiv region overnight on February 6th. A hotel has been destroyed, and there is reportedly a person trapped under the rubble, three people were injured, and a baby died
This information was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov.
"At around 2:30 in Zolochiv, Bohodukhiv district, due to two strikes by occupants with S-300 missiles, a three-story hotel was destroyed," Syniehubov reported.
As a result of the attack, a two-month-old boy born on December 4, 2023, died. His body was retrieved from under the rubble of the hotel.
Additionally, three women aged 21, 28, and 39 were injured. They were transported to a medical facility with blast injuries and shrapnel wounds, including the mother of the deceased child.
The shelling also damaged seven private houses, 19 objects of civilian infrastructure (shops, cafes, kiosks), two administrative buildings, and at least five civilian cars.
Rescuers continue to work on eliminating the aftermath of the strikes.
