The Russian military leadership has tasked its occupying forces in Ukraine with advancing in the Zaporizhzhia region on several fronts. The Kremlin also considers this segment of the front as "promising."

This was stated by Serhiy Bratchuk, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army South and the Odesa Regional Military Administration, in an interview on the We are Ukraine channel.

According to him, this concerns the Robotyne and Vremivka strongholds, where the enemy is attempting to regain positions previously lost during the counteroffensive actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces last year.

Bratchuk noted that these are the areas experiencing the "most active combat operations."

Additionally, there is a gradual reinforcement of the occupying forces' units in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Discussing the battles in the region, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Volunteer Army South explained that these involve small assault groups of the enemy, as well as the "mechanized component and aviation - their trump card."

"The enemy is making progress around the location of Urozhaine. Regarding Robotyne - this is a gray zone. We see the enemy's efforts in advancing towards Vodiane and Staromaiorske, but the intensity of these offensives has somewhat decreased," he said.
