She provided equipment to the aggressor state: Kyiv police announced suspicion of the daughter of the former defense minister

We are talking about 39-year-old Alena Lebedeva. Her father, Pavel Lebedev, led the military department in 2012-2014. The former Minister of Defense of Ukraine is currently wanted for treason.

Lebedeva, being the beneficial owner of several Ukrainian enterprises, supplied goods and equipment for the defense-industrial complex of the aggressor country. She is suspected of organizing the financing of actions carried out to change the territory's borders or the state border of Ukraine. The female figure faces up to eight years in prison.

Investigators of the capital's police headquarters, together with the Security Service of Ukraine and under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, reported suspicion to a woman who supplied goods and equipment for the defense-industrial complex to the Russian Federation.

The pre-trial investigation established that the 39-year-old woman from Kyiv, being the beneficial owner of several Ukrainian enterprises, delivered pumps, railway wagons, and their components to the territory of the Russian Federation. In addition, non-payment of funds to the state budget of Ukraine in the amount of more than UAH 6 million by the enterprises was established.

In total, law enforcement officers conducted 16 searches at enterprises. They discovered and seized: financial and business documentation and original contracts for the supply of manufactured products to companies in the Russian Federation. In total, the court seized 30 plots of land, 30 real estate objects, including 6 integral property complexes and corporate rights of 22 business entities of this financial and industrial group of enterprises.

Lebedeva faces 10 years in prison and confiscation of property.
