In October 2025 alone, Russian forces carried out nearly 14,000 attacks on settlements in the Kherson region, and since the beginning of the year, around 120,000 enemy strikes have been recorded.
The Kherson Regional Military Administration reported this.
“Just last month, the occupiers launched almost 14,000 attacks on settlements in the region, and in total, since the beginning of the year, about 120,000 enemy attacks have been recorded. Under such conditions, protecting the civilian population remains a priority,” the statement reads.
The administration also reported that since the region’s liberation, more than 50,000 residents have left, including 7,000 children. The process continues: collection points are operating, volunteer organizations are assisting, and monitoring is being conducted to identify families with children for further evacuation support.

Residents can also receive consultations and register for evacuation through the free hotlines of the Kherson Regional Military Administration: 0800101102 and 0800330951.
“Daily massive shelling, especially of coastal areas and the regional center itself, leaves no choice but evacuation. We ensure an organized and safe departure for everyone who makes this difficult but wise decision,” said Deputy Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Olha Maliarchuk.
For those who decide to remain in the region, seven temporary accommodation centers have been set up in Kherson, along with a modular town in the Chornobaivka community.
Cooperation has also been established to relocate elderly people and persons with disabilities to social institutions in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, and Mykolaiv regions.
According to the administration, with the support of partners, people in temporary accommodation are provided with three meals a day, hygiene kits, as well as psychological and legal assistance.
