Slovenia has transferred to Ukraine as part of its defense assistance 26 armored fighting vehicles (AFVs), 3 infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), and a new batch of drones.
This information was reported by 24UR.
According to the Slovenian publication, during the pause in U.S. aid packages to Ukraine due to discussions in the Senate and against the backdrop of an 'ammunition famine' in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Slovenia did not delay.
As reported 'unofficially' by their editorial staff, during this period, the country sent 26 AFVs, 3 IFVs, and a new batch of UAVs to Ukraine.
'According to our information, Slovenian tanks M-55S, amphibious armored vehicles BVP M80A, Humvees, and Zastava M55 anti-aircraft installations of Yugoslav production were also equipped with 'new' armored vehicles and drones,' the publication stated.
It was also reported that Ukraine has already received up to 35 drones and an additional new batch of UAVs. Additionally, Slovakia sent 20 BOV 12.7mm caliber, 6 BOV 3x20mm caliber, and an additional 3 IFVs.
BOV - combat armored vehicle. The equipment is suitable for all weather conditions, for driving on roads with solid surfaces and in complex terrain. It is equipped with a machine gun and additional mesh. It was used during unrest and wars in Slovenia, Croatia, and Kosovo.
