Spain is training Ukrainian military personnel in the technical maintenance of Patriot missile systems. The training is taking place in Valencia.

According to the publication, with reference to the General Staff of the country's defense, Spain is instructing Ukrainian military personnel in the technical maintenance of the "highly complex" platform of the Patriot missile system.
"The training is conducted by servicemen from the command units of anti-aircraft artillery (RAAA) from the Marine Corps headquarters, the benchmark unit for this type of weaponry," the journalists added.
Ukraine has received the entire range of air defense systems as agreed upon with Western partners. However, according to the spokesperson of the Air Force, Yuriy Ignat, the quantity of these systems needs to be increased. In particular, he believes that Ukraine requires more systems like Patriot, SAMP/T IRIS-T, and NASAMS to defend the country and its targeted objects from potential attacks.
Specifically, around Kyiv, a multilayered air defense system has been established, consisting of various types of weaponry. At the same time, no air defense system, including those around the capital, can guarantee complete protection.
