State Border Service: Belarus helps guide Russian attack drones into Ukraine

No movements of Russian troops into Belarus have been recorded, but Alexander Lukashenko continues to allow Russia to use signal relay stations on Belarusian territory to support drones used to kill Ukrainians.

This was stated by Andrii Demchenko, spokesperson for Ukraine's State Border Guard Service, during a television broadcast.

"The threat from Belarus certainly remains, but fortunately, we have no preliminary information or indications of preparations for such actions directly near our border. In other words, Russia is not deploying additional forces to Belarus, whether infantry groups or military units. Belarus itself is not moving additional troops directly towards our border," Demchenko said.

At the same time, Belarus continues to support Russia by allowing signal relay stations to operate on its territory.

"Belarus is currently continuing to support Russia primarily through these relay stations, which provide signal support from Belarusian territory to aerial weapons launched by Russia against Ukraine. Lukashenko probably understands the consequences of sending his own military units into the war against our country, including the losses those units would suffer. That is why he is trying to avoid such steps. Instead, he is prepared to help Russia kill Ukrainians in other ways," Demchenko stated.
