President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with a delegation of the United States Congress, consisting of Senators Lindsey Graham and Richard Blumenthal, who are on their visit to Ukraine.
The Head of State noted that another visit of the bipartisan congressional delegation demonstrates the continued support of the United States to Ukraine.
"We thank all the American people, President Biden, both houses of Congress and both parties for their help. We are grateful that this is not the first time during the war that you have given us an important signal – you support Ukraine and Ukrainians," Volodymyr Zelensky said.
The President described the situation on the battlefield, the priority needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and the steps aimed at implementation of the Peace Formula.
Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized the importance of receiving military and technical assistance from partners, including air defense systems and missiles for them.
During the meeting, the parties also discussed further support in strengthening our country's defense capabilities, enhancing economic resilience and restoring a just peace for Ukraine.
Special attention was paid to the Euro-Atlantic integration of our state.
