The ambassador of UNITED24, Elina Svitolina, is raising funds for a school shelter in Odessa region.
222 children from six nearby villages study at the school. Due to the threat of Russian attacks, lessons often have to be held in a shelter. Currently, the space does not meet basic standards. The total amount that Elina is raising for its renovation is UAH 987,940.
The need for a reliable and high-quality shelter is enormous. In 2024 alone, 169 alarms were heard in Odessa region, and since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, there have been more than 1,100 alerts.
UNITED24 ambassador will raffle off an autographed racket, as well as a towel from the limited edition Australia Open. Anyone donating $24 or more has a chance to win, while also helping primary school students stay safe in the village of Tuzly.
