Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and U.S. Presidential Special Representative Keith Kellogg discussed issues related to critical minerals and industrial assets that Russia is attempting to exploit in the occupied Ukrainian territories.

Svyrydenko reported this on Facebook:

“Today, with U.S. Presidential Special Representative Kellogg, we discussed security guarantees for Ukraine. They must be real — based on the UN Charter and respect for our sovereignty. This is not only about the military component but also about political resilience and economic strength,” the Prime Minister noted.

According to her, “a true security guarantee is a strong Ukrainian army and a strong economy. We must preserve the potential of the Armed Forces and develop our own industry. A key priority for us is bringing people back: all prisoners of war, civilians, and abducted children must return home.”

“We separately discussed the issue of critical minerals and industrial assets that Russia is trying to exploit in the temporarily occupied territories. It is unacceptable for their extraction or trade to be legalized,” Svyrydenko emphasized.

She added that “the American side sees prospects for our cooperation — investments, partnerships in reconstruction, and new technologies. A special focus was placed on drones, which are changing the course of the war.”

The Prime Minister thanked Kellogg for his firm support of Ukraine.
