Switzerland has funded the creation of six simulation centers in Ukraine, allowing future doctors to prepare for working with real patients.

The Swiss Embassy in Ukraine and the Ukraine-Switzerland project "Medical Education Development" have provided financing for simulation centers in Lviv, Rivne, Ternopil, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, and Chernivtsi.

In these centers, future doctors and nurses can practice skills on special mannequins under conditions closely resembling real patient care.

"Here we can replicate any complex scenario that can happen in a medical institution. If students make mistakes, we can repeat everything as many times as necessary. Because here we can make mistakes, but in hospitals, we cannot," noted Volodymyr Pokhurskyi, the head of the Medical Simulation Center at the Andrey Krupynsky Lviv Medical Academy.
