Missile and artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a barge with combat equipment on board during an attempt by Russian troops to establish an alternative crossing in the area of ​​the occupied Golaya Prystan in the Kherson region, the Operational Command "South" reports.
"During the enemy's attempt to establish an alternative crossing in the area of ​​Holaya Prystan, a barge with occupants and military equipment on board was destroyed. The fire control of the Kakhovka bridge does not allow the enemy to carry out repair work," the message says.
The military estimates the losses of the Russian army at 30 soldiers and two infantry fighting vehicles. The Russian side does not report losses.
According to the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the day, aviation carried out more than 14 strikes on strongholds and places of concentration of manpower and equipment of the Russian army.
