The Mostyska Container Terminal (MCT) has completed construction of a modern covered warehouse with a total area of over 4,000 sq. m. The projected cargo turnover is expected to reach at least 100,000 tons per year. The facility is divided into two separate warehouses, significantly increasing the terminal’s capacity to store and handle various bulk goods, including oilcake, grains, fertilizers in big bags, and other products.
The warehouse infrastructure includes advanced equipment, notably the specialized A-Ward container tipper. This device can rotate containers by 90 degrees, enabling faster and more efficient loading compared to traditional grain-throwing technologies. The A-Ward tipper allows loading an additional 2–3 tons of bulk cargo. As a result, clients of the Mostyska Container Terminal can substantially save on logistics costs.
“The launch of the covered warehouse will not only increase handling efficiency but also help our partners reduce logistics expenses by providing stable storage conditions,” says Dmytro Kobzar, MCT CEO. “This new facility is another step toward our strategy to become a key logistics hub on the EU border.”
Thanks to its strategic location on the Ukrainian-Polish border, combined with rail tracks of both 1435 mm and 1520 mm gauges, MCT offers flexible multimodal solutions and facilitates seamless trade between Ukraine and European Union countries.
