The Defense Procurement Agency and the Procurement and Logistics Organization of the Ministry of Defense of Denmark (DALO) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation in defense procurement.
The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Dmytro Klimenkov, the director of The Defense Procurement Agency, Marina Bezrukova, as well as the commander of DALO, Lieutenant General Kim Jorgensen.
"We sincerely thank our partners from Denmark for their steadfast support of Ukraine. This event is another important step in deepening our cooperation in supplying the Armed Forces of Ukraine with modern weaponry and military equipment," emphasized Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov.
Under the memorandum, "The Defense Procurement Agency" and the Procurement and Logistics Organization of the Ministry of Defense of Denmark have agreed to exchange experience and cooperate in the procurement of weaponry on external markets.
"Procuring modern weaponry in cooperation with our international partners is one of the key focuses of 'The Defense Procurement Agency.' And we are confident that strengthening cooperation with the Procurement and Logistics Organization of the Ministry of Defense of Denmark will contribute to the conclusion of new contracts and the modernization of our Armed Forces," said Marina Bezrukova, director of The Defense Procurement Agency.
