Tonight, Russians carried out another drone attack on the southeastern regions of Ukraine. For over three hours, multiple waves of attack drones of the "Shahed-131/136" type, launched from the Crimea direction, targeted the regions of Mykolaiv and Dnipropetrovsk, according to the Ukrainian Southern Defense Forces.
According to military reports, 16 drones were shot down over Mykolaiv, and one was intercepted over Dnipropetrovsk. None of the drones managed to hit their intended targets.
The enemy UAVs were engaged and destroyed by air defense forces from the "South" and "East" air commands, as well as mobile fire groups from other units of the Defense Forces.
Subsequently, the Ukrainian Air Force revealed that on the night of October 3, Russian occupiers launched an attack with 31 Shahed drones and an Iskander-K cruise missile. These hostile targets were launched from the temporarily occupied Crimea: the "Shaheds" were launched from Cape Chauda, while the "Iskander-K" missile was launched from the area near Djankoy.
Within the Mykolaiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, Ukrainian forces successfully destroyed 29 "Shahed-131/136" drones and one Iskander-K cruise missile.
