The Embassy of the Italian Republic in Ukraine has handed over two digital pianos, a trombone, a tuba, and a French horn to the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine. These musical instruments will be donated to the B.M. Lyatoshynsky Kharkiv Music College, which suffered from Russian bombardments.
This was made possible through the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Italian Republic, the Municipality of Milan, as well as the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine.
"For us, this is a symbol of Italy's solidarity with Ukraine, a gesture of support from Italy. Our solidarity is also evident in the cultural sector. I would like to thank everyone involved in organizing this event," said Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Ukraine Pier Francesco Zazo.
He also added that this project was initiated by the Italian association 4 Elements AssociAction. In this way, they wanted to demonstrate solidarity with Ukraine and, in particular, the B.M. Lyatoshynsky Kharkiv Music College, which was severely affected by Russian bombardments.
The main protagonist and ambassador of the project is Ukrainian violinist Vera Lytovchenko. A documentary film about her will be presented at various cultural events and television channels to continue fundraising for the college and promote a sense of responsibility towards any form of art.
