This week, the government has added two new industrial parks to the registry, and it is expected that they will create approximately 2,000 new jobs.

Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal announced this while summarizing the week on Facebook.

He stated, "This week, two new sites were added to the Registry of Industrial Parks. It is expected that their operation will create about 2,000 new jobs."

The Prime Minister also mentioned that next year, they plan to allocate 1 billion UAH for the development of industrial parks.

According to the Ministry of Economy, the two new industrial parks are located in Dnipropetrovsk ("EkoStil") and Ivano-Frankivsk ("Iskra").

"EkoStil" industrial park will be located in the Novopilska village council of the Kryvyi Rih district of Dnipropetrovsk region and will specialize in the production of metallurgical products, metal processing, waste recycling of metallurgical production, construction materials, logistics, and more.

The "Iskra" industrial park, initiated by the Pidhaychykivska village council in Kolomyia district of Ivano-Frankivsk region, will work in various areas including food production, textile production, wood processing, and more. Additionally, companies manufacturing wood and cork products, furniture, metal products, machinery, and equipment will be able to operate within the "Iskra" park.

In total, 67 industrial parks have been included in the registry.
