Hamas militants have claimed to have captured over 100 people, including senior military personnel, during their attack on Israel.

This statement was made by a representative of the terrorist organization, Musa Abu Marzouk.

At the same time, the leader of the Palestinian group "Islamic Jihad," Ziyad al-Nakhalah, announced that his fighters had captured around 30 Israelis. He emphasized that the hostages would only be released when Palestinian prisoners are freed from Israeli prisons.

The Israeli government has not provided precise estimates of the number of citizens taken hostage by Hamas militants. It was believed that there could be between 150 to 200 people in captivity.

According to reports, among the hostages, there may be citizens of other countries, including the United States, Germany, and Thailand.
