President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with the Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Kajsa Ollongren, who visited Ukraine.
The head of state thanked Kajsa Ollongren for her significant attention to Ukraine and her multiple visits to our country since the beginning of the full-scale invasion by Russia.
"The Netherlands have been with us from the first days of the Russian aggression. We highly appreciate having such powerful partners and true friends," said Volodymyr Zelensky.
The President of Ukraine praised the fruitful dialogue with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Mark Rutte, including the results of a phone conversation that took place on October 30.
"We are grateful to the Netherlands for important decisions in support of Ukraine made at critical times. These decisions have served as signals to other partners, as was the case with the Patriot and F-16. This is significant support for our army and our people," the head of state noted.
Volodymyr Zelensky provided an update on the situation on the battlefield.
The discussion also covered further support from the Netherlands in enhancing the capabilities of Ukrainian defenders and the security of the "grain corridor."
Also, there was an exchange of views on the situation in the Middle East.
At the end of the meeting, Volodymyr Zelensky presented Kajsa Ollongren with the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, 3rd class, for her significant personal contribution to strengthening interstate cooperation, supporting Ukraine's independence and territorial integrity.
