The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Kingdom, David Cameron, will visit Washington on Wednesday, December 6, as part of his first official visit to the United States since taking office last month. This was announced by the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Cameron will participate in discussions with his American counterparts, with a focus on supporting Ukraine in its struggle against Russian aggression, according to the statement.

It is expected that the minister will engage in a program of bilateral meetings with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and will also meet with members of Congress from the Republican and Democratic parties.

In Washington, Cameron also plans to work on de-escalating tensions in the Middle East, as mentioned in the announcement from the British ministry.
