The International Nuclear Energy Agency (IAEA) has launched a series of negotiations to create a nuclear safety zone at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, which the Russian military has occupied since March 2022.
IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi announced this on Twitter.
He informed that he was meeting with US Under Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security Affairs, Bonnie Jenkins.
