The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense has received another shipment of equipment from the IT Coalition, funded by Luxembourg and Iceland, with a total value of nearly €2 million.
“Thank you to the countries of the IT Coalition for strengthening our army’s technological resilience. This equipment will enhance the quality and reliability of communications in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is crucial on the front line,” said Kateryna Chernohorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Development.
This time, the partners delivered to the Ministry of Defense:
- 3,288 access points of various models
- 500 routers
- 460 solar-powered charging stations
- 872 phones
This is already the third shipment from the IT Coalition in 2025. In January, Estonia, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg provided €3.3 million worth of equipment, followed by another €7.5 million delivery in February.
The IT Coalition is one of the capability coalitions within the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (Ramstein format). It supports the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defense in IT, communications, and cybersecurity.
Current members of the coalition include Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. The coalition is led by Estonia and Luxembourg.
