The Ministry of Digital Transformation announced that Ukraine has become a partner and participant in an international tech exhibition in Germany for the first time

Ukraine has presented tech solutions for the first time at the Smart Country Convention 2023 in Berlin. The event, held from November 7 to 9, brought together over 12,000 visitors, more than 250 participants, and 400 speakers from around the world. The exhibition served as a platform for discussing the development of smart cities and innovative regions, as well as the implementation of digital solutions in the public sector.

Prior to the official opening in an online format, Vice Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science, and Technology Development — Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Mykhailo Fedorov, participated.

"The heart of digital Ukraine is the Diia application, which provides digital government services and stores digital documents. We believe in a comprehensive approach to building a smart country, so, in addition to Diia, the Ministry of Digital Transformation has launched projects such as Diia.Education, Diia.Business, and Diia.City," stated Mykhailo Fedorov.

At SCCON 2023, seven Ukrainian companies had the opportunity to showcase innovative tech solutions and highlight the export potential of the Ukrainian IT industry. Among them:

TRIARE: developing individual software tailored to businesses; Digicode: a reliable technological partner for economically efficient and scalable digital solutions; Sigma: offering turnkey IT solutions to efficiently address business challenges; Eleks: a community of innovators finding bold technological solutions for the most complex tasks.

Alliance of companies in the GovTech IT Cluster of Ukraine:

Prozori Solutions: professional software developers; 42 FLOWS TECH: experts in designing solutions for data flow management; Kitsoft: transforming paper processes into convenient online services and facilitating an efficient dialogue between the government and citizens.

Throughout the exhibition, Ukrainian companies operated within the National Stand of Ukraine.

The third day of the event was opened by Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine for European Integration Valeriya Ionan. She delivered a speech on Ukraine's experience in the digitization of the public sector.

"Despite challenging circumstances, Ukrainians launch new projects and develop innovative solutions, showcasing our technological potential and readiness for transformation to the world. Participation in SCCON 2023 is an opportunity to present Ukraine's level of digitization," noted Valeriya Ionan.

As part of the SCCON exhibition, an informal Networking Night event took place. The event served as a platform for participants to meet, exchange experiences, impressions, and business ideas.

Throughout the exhibition, the Ukrainian exposition was visited by representatives of the German government, including the Federal Minister of the Interior, the Government Commissioner for Information Technology, the Federal Minister of Agriculture and Food, delegations from the Bundestag, Switzerland, Portugal, Estonia, and other distinguished guests.

Participation in the international exhibition Smart Country Convention 2023 provided Ukrainian IT companies with the opportunity to conduct dozens of B2B meetings, participate in networking events and conferences, showcase their innovative solutions to the international community, learn about industry trends, and engage in potential partnerships.

The National Stand of Ukraine at Smart Country Convention 2023 was organized by the Ministry of Digital Transformation, together with the Office of Entrepreneurship and Export Development, Diia.Business, with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Germany and the IT Ukraine Association.
