The Embassy of Ukraine in the United Arab Emirates has announced the launch of “Ukraine Month” — an unprecedented initiative that, for the first time, will bring together dozens of events in diplomacy, business, technology, and culture under a single programme.
This was announced on the embassy’s Facebook page.
The project aims to systematically present modern Ukraine at the level of both state and public diplomacy.
The “The Month of Ukraine” programme covers a wide range of areas: official meetings with representatives of Ukrainian and UAE state institutions, business forums, investment panels, and B2B meetings to strengthen trade cooperation; presentations of Ukrainian startups, technological solutions, and modern innovations; as well as artistic events showcasing Ukraine’s cultural identity.
The marathon of events opens with the cultural initiative “Book Oasis,” organized by the embassy and consulate of Ukraine in Dubai in partnership with the Ukrainian Women’s Initiative in the UAE. The project is designed as a book-crossing and “book shelf” format, where anyone can exchange literature in their native language, discover new publications, and interact with community members.

- January 8 — at the premises of the Embassy of Ukraine in the UAE
- January 9 — at the premises of the Consulate of Ukraine in Dubai
The organizers invite the Ukrainian community, businesspeople, artists, and experts to participate in presenting Ukraine in the Emirates. Since the program includes dozens of events, detailed information, dates, and registration links for each event will be published separately on the embassy’s Instagram and Facebook pages.
