Ukraine will receive 152mm caliber shells worth over 350 million euros. The funds will be allocated from the International Fund for Ukraine.

The Ministry of Defense of the Netherlands reported this information. The exact timing and quantity of shells Ukraine will receive are currently undisclosed. The Dutch agency noted that this decision was made with security considerations in mind.

"In previous shipments of ammunition, Ukraine primarily received 155mm shells for howitzers donated by the West. However, the country also has many 152mm cannons. With this new delivery, this weaponry can also be better utilized," the statement said.

The International Fund for Ukraine (IFU) is a financial initiative established in 2022 by the United Kingdom and Denmark to provide military support to Ukraine in response to Russia's invasion. It has received contributions from several countries, including Norway, the Netherlands, Sweden, Iceland, and Lithuania. Recently, Australia also joined, allocating additional funds.

The Fund ensures the efficient distribution of resources to meet Ukraine's most urgent defense needs, enabling sustained military support while maintaining readiness of the donor countries' armed forces.
