The Committee on Foreign Affairs of the Verkhovna Rada has approved President Volodymyr Zelensky's draft law on the ratification of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
This was reported by Member of Parliament Yaroslav Zheleznyak on Telegram.
According to him, the vote in the Rada will take place soon during a plenary session.
The MP added that since this is a ratification, only one vote is required, and 226 votes are needed.
The Verkhovna Rada plans to convene for a plenary session later this week.
As a reminder, in August, President Volodymyr Zelensky proposed that the Verkhovna Rada ratify the Rome Statute.
